I have eaten at Black Bear restaurant for quite a while now. And your server Christina has always been cheerful happy and such fun to be around . She's right on top of it and she's there if we need help on reordering anything . And I'm a difficult Customer because I can never figure out what I want . But she's always so patient with me and I love that about her .
Sharon did a terrific job on serving us, today. She asked for my drink as soon as I sat down. She gave us the sad news on the "St. Paddy's dinner plate" that there wasn't anymore. However, she replaced it with what was available. She was on of it. The "Meatloaf's Dinner Plate" was delicious.
My husband and I go there almost every Friday morning for breakfast as soon as they open at 6:00. Our server is normally Cassandra unless for some reason she has had her shift changed . She is one of the reasons that we have made it one of our weekly routines. She is friendly, efficient and all around a great person. The management should definitely be appreciative of her service and dedication. The food I'd the other reason that we go there. The morning cook is very good and very fast. He gets the tickets out in a timely manner and the food is consistent in the way that it is cooked.
Food was delicious and came out fast. I ordered the basket burger and it was delicious and good portion. The onion rings were also good. Our waitress, Sharon was amazing, very attentive and made sure everything was okay.
My husband and I recently ate dinner at this Restaurant and I've had ok service there before but this last time our Server was a young lady named Christina. Her skills belong in a 5 star restaurant. I was so surprised when ordering she got everything right (husband has a lot of no this but some of that always added to his dinner) and she really listened got it perfect!!. Just saying it was a very nice experience and I'm actually looking forward to going there again Medina S.
The last couple weekends I've dined here. My server Kent is always pleasant. I love his service here. He's genuine and very attentive to his tables. Food was great. Would love to dine here everytime long as it's Kent!

The food was great, the service was a little slow, and the ambiance was relaxed. The restaurant is clean and the employees were nice and attentive once the got to us. It was busy so that may account for the wait. They did check on us several times after our food was served as well. Overall, a great experience.
My wife and I came here on a Saturday Morning around 8:30am for breakfast. It's been a few years since we last came to Black Bear. We were great and seated fairly quickly. The restaurant is a lot bigger than how it looks on the outside, so there was plenty of seating. The decor was rustic with a woodsy cabin feel. Our server was very attentive and checked up on us frequently which does not happen at most restaurants now days (service was not lacking here). What's even better than the service is the food. I'm not sure why I don't come more often as they have always had good food with large portions at a decent price (even with inflation). I got the Fajita Omelette which was very big and loaded with strips of beef, diced onions and bell peppers. The Fajita Omelette also came with a choice of side (I chose hash browns) and choice of bread (I chose sliced wheat bread). My wife got the Bear's Choice Breakfast: 2 Eggs (over easy), Bacon & Sweet Cream Waffle. Both our meals tasted great and we had some leftovers to take home. The last time we were here I had their prime rib on Mother's Day one year and it was one of the best prime ribs, I've had and it was cheap. I hope they run a prime rib special soon as I will definitely be back for that.
